Princes Lodge 9036
Masonic Province of South Wales

How do I become a Freemason
To become a Freemason there are several overriding pre-requisites, the essential qualification for and continuing membership is a belief in a supreme being.
Membership is open to men of any race or religion who can fulfil this essential qualification and who are of good repute.
Freemasonry is not a religion, nor is it a substitute for any religion. The essential qualification opens it to men of many religions and it expects them to continue to follow their own faith, no religious discussion is permitted at a Masonic meeting.
Freemasonry is non-political and the
discussion of politics is forbidden at
Masonic meetings.
A Freemason is encouraged to do his
duty to his God (by whatever name
he is known) through his faith and
religious practice; and then, without
detriment to his family and those
dependent on him, to his neighbour
through charity and service.
You will require someone to propose you and someone to second you, you may also require references and you will attend interview where much is explained and where you have an opportunity to ask your own questions. If everything is satisfactory then your application will be voted on in 'Open Lodge'
If you wish to join; contact the Lodge Secretary by pushing the 'Contact Us' button, complete the e mail and push 'SEND'.
